2003 Beneteau Oceanis 42CC – “Southern Cross”
---Additional photos coming soon---
Southern Cross is a well-equipped and continuously updated Beneteau 42CC Oceanis, widely regarded as one of the most versatile and comfortable center cockpit cruising sailboats in her class. Designed for serious passage-making or extended coastal cruising, she offers the ideal combination of performance under sail and live aboard comfort.
This cutter-rigged 42 features a spacious two-cabin, two-head layout powered by a reliable 56HP Yanmar diesel. Below deck, the master stateroom spans the full beam aft with a queen berth and private en suite head with a separate shower stall—an uncommon luxury at this size. The forward guest cabin also has its own head, making this an ideal boat for families or cruising couples.
The well-appointed galley along the port side includes a stove, microwave, and top-loading refrigerator and freezer—perfect for prepping meals underway or at anchor. Just forward of the galley is a fully equipped navigation station with seating. The salon features a large U-shaped dinette to starboard that converts to a double berth for additional accommodations.
Currently in the water and in a slip, Southern Cross is easy to view and ready for her next adventure.
